Anarcho Punk

Anarcho-punk is a politically radical UK punk subculture developed in the late 1970s and 80s by bands like Crass and Conflict, where DIY punk dress and explicit anarchist, pacifist, and feminist politics are inseparable. Mainstream punk looks polished by comparison; this is cruder and far more ideological. Black clothing covered in hand-stenciled anarchist patches is the base. Studded leather jackets and vests are plastered with band names and political slogans. Mohawks or liberty spikes go on top. Steel-capped Dr. Martens, ripped fishnets, military surplus trousers, and anti-war or anti-corporate pins complete it.
