Bimbocore

Bimbocore reclaims hyperfemininity, pink, and sparkles while rejecting intellectualism as a piece of feminist satire, an ironic trend that emerged on TikTok around 2020. Exaggerated performance is how it subverts gendered expectations. Extremely mini skirts and tight crop tops make up the core. Sky-high platform heels go below. Faux fur coats layer over, with rhinestone accessories, heavy makeup, and a palette running pastel to neon.
