French New Wave

French New Wave is a 1950s and 60s cinema aesthetic of intellectual cool and artistic rebellion, a film movement that turned into a way of dressing. Nouvelle Vague-inspired 1960s French clothing carries it. Simple shifts are the core garment. Striped tops go with them, in the minimal register of the Godard era.
