Harajuku

Harajuku is the eclectic street fashion of Tokyo's Harajuku district, blending kawaii, punk, and avant-garde influences, and it reached international recognition across the 1990s and 2000s on the strength of its creativity and subcultural range. Outfits are eclectic and colorful by definition. Mixed prints run across them. Tutu skirts and themed clothing carry the shapes. Platform shoes go below, with character accessories, layered socks, and oversized bows piled on top.
