Pop Surrealism

This is an underground visual art movement emerging in 1960s Los Angeles incorporating elements of underground comix, punk, tiki, graffiti, and hot-rod cultures. It often includes a sense of humor. Likewise, fashion inspired by the movement is often colorful, and incorporates things like everyday objects in a humorous way or evokes a sense of whimsy.
