This is a subgenre of dance-pop and electropop that emerged in the late 2000s as a result of the Great Recession and typically has uptempo, catchy, feel-good pop music. Outfits inspired by this often feature patterns like leopard print, bright colors, low waisted pants, and fur trimmed pieces.
