Thrash Metal

Thrash metal is a subgenre of heavy metal defined by aggression and fast tempo, emerging in the 1980s with fast percussive beats, low-register guitar riffs, and shredding lead work. Leather jackets carry the outerwear. Band tees go underneath. Distressed denim and leather pants cover the bottoms. Combat boots go below, with studded pieces and fingerless gloves throughout.
