Angura kei is Japanese underground theater-inspired fashion combining dark, avant-garde, and traditional Japanese elements, drawn from the angura theater movement of the 1960s and 70s. Cultural rebellion and historical reference sit side by side in it. Kimono-inspired garments come in dark or red tones. Hakama extend the traditional silhouette, with geta sandals below.
